DUTY OFFICER CARGO WAREHOUSE / RAMP (M/F/D)

 Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Development and implementation of operationally defined processes
  • Management & supervision of multiple groups (Warehouse & Ramp)
  • Adjustment of daily personnel assignments according to production (personnel deployment, break management, etc.)
  • Responsible for ensuring that operations run smoothly
  • Contact person for customers and processing of their enquiries (Ad hoc Charter etc.)
  • Responsibility for customer satisfaction and complaints management for the Warehouse & Ramp area:
    • Analysis
    • Development of corrective actions (CAPA)
    • Customer feedback
    • Effectiveness testing
  • Performing coordination and special tasks for freight operations, other Swissport BSL departments and to fulfil customer requirements
  • Email and Correspondence Management
  • Responsible for the drafting and operational implementation of new directives and processes for the division
  • Close cooperation with the Duty Manager and management
  • Participation in internal operational meetings and external meetings with customers, partners and authorities
  • Supporting management with safety measures, quality and planning
  • Carrying out employee appraisals

 

 Your Profile:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Management, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the aviation industry, and 3 years of experience in personnel management
  • Experience in groundhandling
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of English, French and German
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Willingness to work irregular hours (shifts and weekends) including on-call duty
  • Driving licence for car
